Special thanks to Astroplus, Ovation Productions, Dayly Entertainment and MCA Music!

Of course, helping the environment is a 24/7 job and there is no stopping us but keep in mind that we need a little fun every now and then. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

In response to a suicide note sent to PostSecret, more than 32,000 people have joined a Facebook group pleading for the anonymous person to keep on living. According to Time magazine, the heart-wrenching letter was published over the weekend. It read: "I have lived in San Francisco since I was young ... I am illegal ... I am not wanted here. I don't belong anywhere. This summer I plan to jump off the Golden Gate." Readers of PostSecret, which is a blog that posts letters written by anonymous users, flooded the site with comments begging the person not to leap. One reader even wrote that he would hang copies of the comments along the Golden Gate Bridge. The Facebook group, dubbed, "Please Don't Jump," quickly formed, and people from across the world have joined in support.

This is a sobering story, but it's also a wonderful example of how a social-networking community can be used to create a real community.

Question and Answer Portion!
Inspire Me
NOTE: This is just SHORT.

I just wanted to know, what questions in your mind that you can't seem to forget about whenever we talk about the environment?

Weekends or Weekdays?
Hey everyone, I noticed we haven't updated for a while. The past weeks have obviously been busy ones.

Weekends and weekdays...a random question for you all. Are you more earth friendly during WEEKENDS or WEEKDAYS? During weekdays we're forced to go to work, use up electricity, paper, and plenty more resources. On weekdays, we use resources as well. So basically, the question can be rephrased to: Do you use up more resources during leisure hours or working hours?

Personally, I think I use up more resources when I have time to myself. I watch TV, type things on the computer, charge my personal gadgets. I know that quality time doesn't require using these things but I've grown so used to them in my day-to-day life that I find it hard to think of ways to spend my time.

Any more responses to my lame question?

Hey earth saving heroes! Okay, that sounded wrong... anyways... I'd like to start a discussion. Who are you and why do you want to save the environment? I hope you answer!

I thought of this because no one really knows each other in this community.

I Love ME - Chapter 6

title: I Love ME

fandom: Skandar Keynes
pairing: SkandarKeynes/OC
genre: Romance
disclaimer: I do not own the people that are not fictional in this fan fiction. The plot is fictional and similarities in real life are purely coincidental.
summary: She was saving the environment and he was too. They were partners at the environmental movement group but they were causing more chaos than saving.

This site provides an overview of the relationship between natural resources and cultural and historical issues in South Africa.

The Borrowed Earth
We do not inherit the Earth from our Fathers
We borrow it from our children
Yet we inherited the disease
That our Fathers created
A land that is dying
From the mistakes of man
Lets begin to cure the land
Of it's illness
So that when we return
The one thing
That we have borrowed
From the generations to come
It is a better land then that
Which was returned to us
So separate what can be saved
And still be used again
So that we may show our children
The love we have for them
Now is the time to take action
Now is the time to begin
To save the one thing
That we cannot replace
A home for the children of men

Can Poetry Save the Earth? Part Four

It is this artist's unique vision of the nature poem as a bio-world in itself-holding safe for us what we have freely endangered-that gives these paintings a radiance of power and conviction. It also marks it out as of central importance in the developing conversation on poetry and the environment.

Can Poetry Save the Earth? Part Three

It is a remarkable attempt to bring the rich tradition of nature poetry to our aid in the current and ongoing ecological crisis.
